Kingthings (kingthingsfonts.co.uk) is a UK-based, independent typography website. This policy explains what data we collect from visitors, which, honestly, is very little, and your rights over it under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

What we collect

This site has no user accounts, no comment system, and no forms that ask for your name, email or any other personal detail. We don't run advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts. The fonts used across this site are self-hosted rather than loaded from Google's or any other third party's servers, specifically so your browser doesn't send a request to an outside company just to render this page's text.

Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical server logs for every website request, things like your IP address, browser type, and the page requested, which is normal for any website on the internet and is used only for security and basic traffic monitoring, never to build a profile of you personally.

Cookies

This site does not set any cookies for tracking, advertising or analytics purposes. If that ever changes (for instance, if we introduce privacy-respecting analytics in the future), this page will be updated first, and a notice will appear on the site.

Outbound links and partner content

Some pages on this site link to external websites, including an occasional partner or sponsored link. Clicking an outbound link takes you to a site we don't control, and that site's own privacy policy applies from that point on. We're not responsible for how third-party sites handle your data.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Ask what personal data (if any) we hold about you
• Ask us to correct or delete it
• Object to how it's used
• Complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), if you think we've handled your data improperly

Since we don't collect personal data through the site itself, most of these rights won't have anything to act on in practice, but they still apply in full if that ever changes.
